Maria is the Billing Operations Manager and has been with Tidal Billing since 2022. With a decade of experience working with Native American tribes in casinos and healthcare facilities, Maria brings 7 years of billing expertise, including roles in Opioid treatment facilities providing medical, substance use disorder counseling, mental health counseling, and dental services. With an additional 5 years as a Tribal Assister/Volunteer Navigator, Maria excels in assisting patients with Washington State Medicaid applications, enriching our team with diverse capabilities.

Kim

Kim serves as the Clinical Operations Manager at Tidal Billing Solutions. She collaborates closely with clients to optimize their electronic health systems, ensuring a seamless transition from patient care to billing. As a licensed SUDP, Kim brings valuable operational and clinical expertise to both our billing team and our clients. Her hands-on support helps promote efficiency and timely reimbursement throughout the billing process. At TBS, Kim is an integral part of our collaborative team dedicated to delivering a positive and streamlined billing experience.

Ashley

Ashley joined Tidal Billing Solutions in 2024 as a Billing Specialist. A Washington native, she graduated from Bellingham Technical College in 2019 with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Assisting. Before joining TBS, Ashley spent five years working in the dental field, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care, organization, and attention to detail. She now applies those skills to support the Tidal Billing team in delivering accurate and efficient billing services.

Laurie

Laurie is the Lead Billing Specialist at Tidal Billing Solutions, bringing over a decade of experience in medical billing. Since 2017, Laurie has specialized in working with Washington State Tribes, managing billing for both Medical Clinics and Behavioral Health Programs. Her strength lies in her comprehensive knowledge of Tribal Billing and the unique requirements that come with it. Dedicated to community and service, Laurie is passionate about ensuring that every Health Clinic we serve receives accurate and timely reimbursement for the care they provide.

Dawn

Dawn is the President of Tidal Billing Solutions. In 2022, after years of experience establishing holistic healthcare clinics through her consulting business, she recognized a growing need to support Tribes across Washington State with their medical and behavioral health third-party billing. Understanding the complexities of Tribal billing and the limitations of many electronic health record systems, Dawn assembled a skilled team of clinical and billing professionals to bridge that gap. Under her leadership, Tidal Billing Solutions has grown to serve more than 15 organizations—both Tribal and non-Tribal—across four states.
